Description
Vetmec LA Long Acting Injection for Cattle
- Kills roundworms for longer.
- Kills Cattle Tick (Rhipicephalus microplus).
- No known impact on dung beetles.
- Long acting control of roundworms, lice and mites.
- Ideal for use in young cattle in high rainfall areas – treat in Autumn to clean up contaminated pastures.
- Recommended for the strategic control of Cattle Tick to break the tick life cycle and reduce paddock contamination.
Chemvet recommends considering the use of a primer drench at the same time as Vetmec LA, such as LEV Pour-On, to reduce the risk of worm resistance.
Dosage Information
The dose rate for Vetmec LA is 1mL/100kg. Use the Vetmec 5mL Injector with 16G x 1/2″ Needles.
Administer via subcutaneous injection at the base of the ear only.
^In cattle greater than 500kg, split the dose between two injection sites.
